Day 50

Breakfast/lunch: grilled cheese and syrup, sausage, eggs, potatoes, and orange juice

A friend of mine told me to try grilled cheese and syrup. It could have been the fact that it was dining hall food, but I didn’t like it

Dinner: Blue sushi. I cannot remember the specific ones, but my date and I split an appetizer and three rolls.

Some alcohol, I am posting this before I go out, so I don’t know how much

I can’t believe I have made it to day 50!! There were some good days, some bad days, a lot of days where I just did what was easy, but I can honestly say that writing what I eat down has helped me put more thought into what I eat and the decisions I make. I hope to focus more on those decisions for the next 50 days, and to keep this up.

Day 48

Breakfast: Two hard boiled eggs, sausage, potatoes, orange juice, coffee, a scone, and yogurt/granola/mandarin oranges

Lunch: Salad

Dinner: Spinach wrap and french fries

Half baked Ben and Jerry’s

I watched The Hunting GroundĀ tonight. Afterwards we had a panel of faculty who deal with sexual assault on our campus. I thought it was very moving and awesome that we had such an open discussion about how our university deals with it.

Day 46

Breakfast: Two hardboiled eggs, sausage, potatoes, orange juice, and a glass of milk

Lunch: Humus and grilled vegetable wrap, grapes, and cheese

Mint tea

Dinner: Spinach wrap, cherry tomatoes, and chips with humus

I liked the workout in aerobics, it was at our own pace and went like this: Lap and jumping jacks, lap and jumping jacks + squats, lap and jumping jacks + squats + plank, etc., for 10 more items added on. I also am joining two more academic/leadership programs, and I am thrilled that I have the opportunity to.

I decided that even though college is more stressful, the stress has changed. It is less peaks of stress and more constant stress. I think I have begun to learn to get things done sooner, to avoid those peaks and be happier with the outcomes.

Day 39

Lunch: Salad, grilled cheese, ramen noodles, french fries, and a cup of coffee

mints

Dinner: Hamburger, french fries, chips, humus, and a cookie

Today was a day off of school, and it was beautiful!! Not very good on the eating side, but I got work done and planned a date for tomorrow. It feel like things are starting to go my way.

Day 27

Breakfast: breakfast burrito with eggs, ham, peppers, cheese, onions, and mushrooms, a banana, a glass of milk, and a bowl of yogurt, granola, and mandarin oranges

Lunch: I had a late lunch of Godfathers sausage pizza. They put an absurd amount of sausage on it and it was really good!

Two cups of earl grey tea

Dinner: Didn’t happen

I had class, slept, and went to speed dating! It was the first day of actual working out in aerobics, and I felt very uncoordinated.

Day 24

Breakfast: Omelet with ham, peppers, tomatoes, onions, and cheese, coffee, a banana, and apple sauce

Starbucks chi tea

Lunch: COBB salad and grapes and cheese cubes in a cup

Dinner: Spinach salad with cheese, tomatoes, and balsamic vinegar and a serving of eggplant casserole

mints

Today is going to end very well. I have another date set up, I got started on all my homework, finished a book, and became closer with my sisters!!

Day 16

Breakfast: A pancake with peanut butter and maple syrup and half a glass of milk

Lunch: Indian food! As made by my dad, which included white rice, a curry with potatoes and onions, naan, and a glass of milk

Dinner: A dining hall spinach wrap with turkey, white cheese, spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, and honey mustard sauce

Two jolly ranchers and a hershey’s kiss

Rushing for greek life starts tomorrow. I have mixed feelings about it, but I hope to make the best of it. I think that now I am living in a dorm again that I will start to drink less tea. Classes start Wednesday.

Day 15

Breakfast: 2 egg omelet with cheese, a banana, a cutie, and black tea

Lunch: Sloppy joe with the bread, two small quesadillas, a banana, a cutie, and black tea

A powdered doughnut

Dinner: sloppy joe without the bread and vanilla rooibos tea

I spent all day readingĀ Water for Elephants. It was an alright book, there were scenes that I loved, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I move back to school tomorrow, and its going to be hectic.
